Problem: Crowding in the upper with the bottom jaw markedly retrusive

Solution: Started with partial braces in the upper to decrease the crowding, then a twin block appliance to bring the bottom jaw more forward and improve the bite followed by fixed braces on all the other teeth to achieve ideal functional occlusion

Notes: The option of bringing the bottom jaw forward improved the patient's soft tissue aesthetics and smile
