Hilton
Wasilewsky
has been practising in Sydney since 1985 after returning from
the United States, where he studied orthodontics at Eastman
Dental Centre and completed a Masters Degree in Orthodontics
at the University of Rochester.
Hilton
was trained in the so-called 'Edgewise'
technique and philosophy of orthodontics, which he uses for
the treatment of both children and adults. In addition he uses
orthopaedic
appliances for growth modification and other aesthetic appliances
such as Invisalign.
Dr Wasilewsky is also involved in assisting patients who have
a sleep problem; either snoring or sleep apnea. He assists specialist
physicians by providing an appliance
to help in this disorder. He been assisting patients with sleep
problems since 1997.
He
teaches this orthodontic philosophy to postgraduate orthodontic
student and gives numerous lectures on the subject of his speciality.
He is also a member of a number of specialist study groups,
including the American
Angle Society as well as being a Diplomate
of the American Board of Orthodontics a member of the American
Association of Orthodontists
Hilton
is committed to providing the best quality, personal orthodontic
care, as well as devoting himself to the advancement of his
specialty; he has served as a Trustee
of the Australian Orthodontic Foundation for Research and Education
and is a member of the Australian
Society of Orthodontists and other Australian Orthodontic
and Dental Study groups.
Dr
Wasilewsky is married with three children and his interests
include computers and everything to do with new technology.
So, he hopes to bring you an orthodontic experience, which combines
the newest developments in the area with a sound knowledge based
on extensive experience in this speciality.

James
Choi joined our practice at the beginning of 2005,
seeing patients on alternate Thursdays. He grew up in Sydney,
completing his Dental and Orthodontic training at Sydney University,
where he still teaches.
James
enjoys skiing, bushwalking, tennis and squash and has recently
become a dad to baby Alisha. The staff enjoy having him in the
practice and we are sure the patients will too!
