				Problem: Lower crowding Solution: Braces in the lower only with some polishing between the teeth Notes: Because of the patient's bite, we were able to treat the lower arch only, but needed to decrease the amount of tooth substance to allow for alignment

				Problem: Lower anterior crowding Solution: Partial braces in the lower to bring the teeth into alignment and then permanent retention Notes: In some instances partial treatment for a short period of time is a good treatment and needs permanent retention to keep it in place
